Whilst efficiency and a professional image are good reasons for having van racking installed, Personal Safety & Security are probably more important.  Sortimo in-vehicle equipment has been developed with safety in mind and dynamicaly crash tested to ensure its stability in the event of an accident.

A recent crash test performed by TRL in Berkshire proved the safety of the correctly installed Sortimo Globelyst equipment.  When compared to an alternative system, the Sortimo racking remained in place and retained over 360kg of ballast placed in it. The alternative racking and ballast ended up in the front of the van where the driver would have been seated. A DVD of the test is available from us.
